THE PRIMARY PRESCHOOL PROGRAM
ENRICHMENT IN THE PRIMARY CLASSROOM
At Montessori Life, we believe in nurturing the whole child. We do this by offering opportunities for exploration and self-discovery in addition to academic studies. We offer a 2-hour work period each day during which students can pursue their interests and passions. Whether it's practicing yoga, exploring music and rhythm, or simply observing others, our students have the freedom to choose how they spend their time. In addition, we offer a variety of classes throughout the year, including Dalcroze Eurhythmics Music Class, Introduction to the Spanish Language, and a Spanish Immersion Music Class, to further enrich our students' educational experience.
EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION GRANT
Once a student turns three years old, they may qualify to participate in the Ohio Early Childhood Education grant program.
"The purpose of the ECE Grant is to provide high-quality early learning services to Ohio’s preschool age children and help to prepare children for success in kindergarten. The state funded ECE Grant is awarded to early care and education programs who provide developmentally appropriate learning environments that address the outcomes and goals essential for healthy development and academic growth....ECE Grant funds are awarded to existing high-quality early care and education programs within high-needs areas of the state. Programs that receive the grant include public preschool programs, Joint Vocational schools (JVS), Board of Developmental Disabilities, chartered non-public schools, private preschool programs, Head Start programs, childcare centers and family childcare homes.

Families that qualify for this grant program receive a reduced tuition rate.

HELP FROM HOME
At our Montessori school, we believe that family involvement is crucial to a child's learning journey. Studies have shown that when families continue the learning at home, it dramatically improves outcomes and helps children develop intrinsic motivation. Choosing the Montessori approach means being more mindful, intentional, and present along the way, and experiencing life differently. Join us on this journey, we would love the company!

"We must help the child to
act for himself
will for himself
think for himself
this is the art of those who aspire to serve the spirit"
- Maria Montessori
ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
The Primary Montessori classroom is a truly magical place where children are encouraged to explore their gifts and talents. With a focus on practical life, sensorial, math, language, geography, and science, students are guided by dedicated teachers who use the environment to inspire learning. The classroom is designed to mirror an elementary school schedule, with the goal of achieving full autonomy and confidence in time for kindergarten.
